Call for Abstracts

THE BUILD invites the submission of original research, clinical studies, innovative work, and challenging case reports in the field of liver diseases. All submitted abstracts will undergo peer review by the Scientific Committee and selected abstracts will be presented as either Oral Papers or E-Posters.

Abstract Submission Opens: 1st August 2026
Abstract Submission Deadline 30th September 2026
Abstract Acceptance Notification 20th October 2026

Awards and Benefits

The Top 25 Abstracts will receive:

  • Travel Bursary
  • Complimentary Accommodation (Twin-Sharing Basis)
  • Complimentary Conference Registration

Submission Categories

Abstracts may be submitted under either of the following categories:

  • Oral Paper Presentation
  • E-Poster Presentation

General Submission Guidelines

  • All abstracts must be submitted electronically.
  • Abstracts must be submitted in English language only.
  • Abstracts should be submitted as a single Word document.
  • Each abstract should contain the following fields:

    * Abstract Title

    * Authors

    * Presenting Author

    * Institution

    * Abstract Text

  • The Presenting Author will be the primary contact for all communications related to the abstract. Please ensure that all contact details are accurate and complete.
  • All abstracts will be reviewed by members of the Scientific Committee.

Abstract Format Requirements

  • Maximum abstract length: 300 words.
  • Abstracts exceeding 300 words may be rejected or truncated.
  • Only one table, figure, or image is permitted per abstract.
  • The abstract must be structured under the following headings:

    * Introduction

    * Methods

    * Results

    * Conclusion

  • The abstract should be written as a single paragraph without stylized subheadings within the text.

Confirmation and Acceptance

  • A submission confirmation will be automatically sent by email to the submitter and the presenting author upon successful submission.
  • Authors of accepted abstracts selected for poster presentation will be required to submit their posters in electronic format (E-Poster).

E-Poster Guidelines

Accepted poster presenters must submit their E-Poster by 31 December 2026.

E-Poster Specifications

  • Poster format: Standard PowerPoint widescreen format (16:9)
  • File format: High-resolution JPEG.
  • Maximum file size: 2 MB.
  • Submission should consist of a single JPEG file.
  • Animations, audio files, videos, GIFs, and other dynamic content will not be supported.
  • Only static JPEG images will be accepted.
