TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions (the “Agreement”) apply to your registration and participation in the APASL STC & BUILD 3.0 (the “Conference”), organized by Dr Akash Shukla under the aegis of
‘Gastroenterology Research Society’. By registering for and attending the Conference, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Registration

1.1 Eligibility
The Conference is open to healthcare professionals, researchers, academics and students with
a genuine interest in liver diseases.

1.2 Registration Process
To register, participants must complete the registration form available on the Conference
website. You must provide accurate and complete information as requested. The registration
form must be submitted online or via the prescribed method before the registration deadline.

1.3 Confirmation of Registration
Registration is considered complete only after you receive a confirmation email. This email will include details regarding your registration and payment confirmation.

1.4 Changes to Registration
Once registered, participants are responsible for ensuring that their personal and professional details are accurate. If changes need to be made to your registration (e.g., name, title, session preferences), please contact the Conference registration team at buildconferences@gmail.com before the registration deadline.

2. Payment

2.1 Conference Fees
Registration fees are required to attend the Conference. The fee varies based on attendee type (e.g., early bird, standard, student, etc.) and the date of registration. Specific fees will be listed on the Conference website at the time of registration. Prices may include access to sessions, conference materials, networking events, and refreshments, depending on the chosen package.

3. Conference Program and Content

3.1 Program Changes
The Conference organizers reserve the right to change the program at any time due to
unforeseen circumstances, such as speaker cancellations, technical issues, or other operational challenges. These changes may include session reassignments, speaker replacements, or other necessary adjustments.

3.2 Content Ownership and Use
All content shared during the Conference, including but not limited to presentations, workshops, materials, and documents, is the property of the organizers or the respective speakers. Participants may not record, reproduce, or redistribute any content without prior written consent from the organizers.

3.3 Continuing Medical Education Credits
For attendees seeking continuing medical education (CME) credits, the Conference may offer
credits for participation in specific sessions. Participants must attend the required sessions and comply with attendance verification procedures to receive CME credits. CME eligibility details will be available in the Conference program.

4. Cancellation Policy

4.1 Conference Postponement or Cancellation by Organizers
In the unlikely event that the Conference is canceled or postponed by the organizers,
participants will be notified promptly. If the Conference is canceled, all registration fees will be refunded. If postponed, registered participants will have the option to attend the rescheduled event or request a refund.

4.2 Force Majeure
Neither the organizers nor the venue will be held responsible for delays, cancellations, or
changes in the Conference program due to situations beyond their control, including, but not limited to, natural disasters, labor strikes, pandemics, or governmental actions.

5. Attendance and Behavior

5.1 Code of Conduct
Participants are expected to conduct themselves professionally at all times. Harassment,
discrimination, or disruptive behavior toward other participants, speakers, or organizers will not be tolerated. Violators will be asked to leave the event immediately without a refund.

5.2 Health and Safety Requirements
Participants must adhere to any health and safety protocols in place at the time of the
Conference.

5.3 Intellectual Property Rights
Participants are prohibited from recording or photographing any content presented at the
Conference without permission. This includes video/audio recording of sessions and workshops.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

6.1 Personal Data Collection
By registering for the Conference, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data for the purposes of event management, marketing, and follow-up communications

6.2 Marketing Communications
As a registered participant, you may receive promotional emails about the Conference or future events. You can opt out of receiving such communications by following the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting the Conference organizers directly.

6.3 Photography and Videography
By attending the Conference, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded. The
Conference organizers may use such media for promotional purposes, including on social
media, websites, and in marketing materials. If you prefer not to be recorded, please notify the event organizers in advance.

7. Liability

7.1 Attendee Liability
By registering and attending the Conference, you agree to assume full responsibility for any personal injury or damage to property incurred during the event. The organizers and the venue are not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.

7.2 Indemnification
Participants agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Conference organizers, their
affiliates, employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from their participation in the Conference.

8. Force Majeure

8.1 Unforeseen Circumstances
In the event of a force majeure situation, such as natural disasters, terrorist attacks, pandemics, or any other extraordinary event outside of the control of the organizers, the Conference may be delayed, rescheduled, or canceled. In such cases, the organizers will notify participants and provide information about refunds or alternative arrangements.

9. Modifications to the Terms and Conditions

The Conference organizers reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to registered participants via email or through updates on the Conference website. By continuing to attend the Conference, you agree to abide by any modified Terms and Conditions.
